In this 2.5-day course, practitioners will learn the foundations of the BBI Bike Fit Method which includes the Cyclist Specific Exam, Cycling Analysis, and Cyclist Intervention unique to road and gravel bikes.
This course will teach the foundations of the BBI Bike Fit Method including the parts of the bicycle, rider points of contact and how to manipulate them, and rider equipment and their relation to human movement.
Fitters will learn the unique BBI Cycling Body Assessment and the BBI Basic Fit Process and basic cycling-specific exercise prescription as a medical professional. Fitters will also get hands-on bike fit practice during the course
Upon completion, fitters will be able to thoroughly examine the cyclist's body, assess movement patterns, and perform a basic medical and performance bike fit for road and gravel bikes.
Following completion of the course, BBI fitters will be added to our Find A BBI Fitter database to easier stand out to clients in your area.

Level 1 is open to physical and occupational therapists, chiropractors, and medical doctors interested in performing medical and performance bike fitting
